Tuolumne City Museum Research Center

The Museum research center is available to all visitors to access a variety of historical information, documents and photographs.

The reserch center is available during regular museum hours , Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Special hours can be arranged by calling 209 928-3300.

Items available for research include:

Tuolumne City Newspapers (The New Era and The Tuolumne Prospector) from 1902 on microfilm
Video tapes of West Side Railroad operations
Summerville High School yearbooks from 1912
Audio and video interviews with local residents
Over 2,000 digitized historic photographs covering the community’s history from the 1880′s.
Books, research papers and personal histories of and by local residents
